SM Tube System

The TECHSPEC® SM Tube System provides tremendous versatility in converting a lens assembly design into a complete, functioning physical assembly. A drop in assembly using 1”/25mm or ½”/12.5mm optics can be created utilizing anodized aluminum barrels complete with SM1 (1.035” x 40 TPI) or SM05 (0.535” x 40 TPI) internal threading. Spacing of optical elements is accomplished by using brass spacer rings with tight tolerances and blackened surfaces for additional light dampening in the barrel. The TECHSPEC SM Tube System is applicable to OEM applications as well as research and development.
